If you were to taste VUNA blind, you wouldn’t know any better: this is tuna. Yet there are no fish involved; VUNA is a fish substitute based on pea protein from vegetarian brand Garden Gourmet, owned by Nestlé.
We were asked to widely showcase this innovative product
We did this through traditional PR, an activation, internal PR and paid collaborations. We visited media, influencers and activated in the streets of Amsterdam with the VUNA fish bar. We also pitched Nestlé’s sustainability story, which resulted in a full-page spread in Trouw.
Together with influencers, including Vjeze Fur (known from De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig and Lekker Fred), we set up partnerships and they shared their recipes with VUNA on social media and online.
